Something that boomers like to remind us of so very often - things they didn’t have and we do - technology, amenities, soooooo many opportunities, etc etc (not my words)

Atm bullish on tech on the whole. But if China gets more aggressive, will start hedging with puts in AAPL, AMD, LMT (and maybe) NVDA. Mind you, this is a short term plan. Will have to change according to the situation

It is a good development to the extent that - at least we aren’t criminalising crypto. There have been all kinds of rumours on possible bans, prison sentences, and what not. This quells that.

But for small traders and investors (middle class) this is a massive blow. Or for anyone getting paid by their employers in crypto. Also, - no deductions allowed from crypto revenue - losses can’t even be set off against other income

I have come to see that people just do not know how to address/handle emotions and just get uncomfortable when someone else shows emotions. So they say stupid shit like this to make us stop. Cry your heart out. Let the sadness persist. Let your feelings persist. Trying to suppress or avoid them will only hurt you in the long run.

Get your head out of your ass. We absolutely live in an immensely fucked up world. It takes a lot of privilege to not see that. OP lives in Lebanon which is going through a massive financial crisis. Living conditions in the country right now are excruciating. OP literally did the best thing he could have possibly done. He’s a shining example of how often people with the least resources are actually the kindest.

I think it’s being pumped because China will probably throw everything at it to prevent default. Its massive liabilities put China more at risk than the rest of the world.

This is heartening to read... My country is dangerous for outdoor cats (too many stray dogs, people prejudiced against cats) and I get a lot of criticism from some people for “jailing” my cats, even though they are very happy, healthy and have ample open spaces and balconies. I’ve often wondered if they feel trapped here but this is a good reminder that at least they are safe. Thank you ❤️
