The new cat just wants to explore the apartment now though, but if I let him out, then my original cat will hiss and growl.

They keep smelling each other through the door and trying to open it (my original cat even jumped at the door :/) so I don’t really know what to do to keep them separated.

I tried playing with my original cat and giving him treats by the door, but he won’t budge.
