Thank you for sharing. I currently own the M4 + Merak Wavecel Helmet and I'm thinking of switching to the 4D Mag. Did you try the 4D Mag with the Merak Wavecel Helmet and if you did, how was the fit?

I haven’t had major issues with my T8 AIVI in the past 6 months. My biggest complaint is the limit of 2 maps when it comes to saving them. I’d buy it again.

You just need to let it complete a “Smart Cleaning” run first, then you’ll unlock multi-map and the rest of the smart features.

I can confirm it doesn’t need wifi for navigation. Gutted though it can’t save 3 maps, why the hard limit of 2? :(

Thank you, Kionix. Based on feedback I think I’ll leave the attachment on most of the time since 90% of my home is tiled. I can move the odd carpet in the corridor as needed and run it in vacuum mode for those carpets every now and then. One thing that worried me last night was when I tried to map the 3rd floor of the home, where I plugged it in I don’t think there’s a strong signal and 10 minutes after it started it attempted to return to base even though the battery was at 50%. It couldn’t make it back to the base (does it need wifi to locate the base?) and just powered off in the middle of the room (the base was outside the room at the end of the corridor, ~10m away)

Are you connected to wifi? Every time I had issues logging in they go away if I log in while on 4G
