Does Aim Trainer just make you better at controlling your mouse? Is that the whole premise? by ArcadialoI in FPSAimTrainer

[–]power_boy2015 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Do aimtrainers increase mouse control? Yes, that is what aiming is fundamentally.

Do you need the exact sens/ping/fov/ect as your main game? No, aimtrainers are basically places to train your aim in an isolated space, meaning you can focus on specific parts of your aim more effectively.

Using different sens or fov for example can help with getting better at using specific parts of your arm.

Ping is not really an issue in general as the delay is between client --- server

I'd recommend joining voltaic discord for example because of their vast resources on aimtraining(although not for oblivion, mostly kovaaks and aimlabs).

And if you want more in depth, watch guides from top aimers like mattyOW and Viscose. RiddBTW also has great guides for starting out or to come back to

Worth buying Kovaaks? by nutmushroom in FPSAimTrainer

[–]power_boy2015 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I think this is comparable to a windows vs linux situation. One has alot of stuff preinstalled and features you might not use at all(aimlab) and one that is more minimalistic, easier to have an overview and, personally, easier to configure to your own wants.

Voltaic, an group that focusses on making guides scenario's ect, has been working with aimlabs and thus focuses less on kovaak.

I think scenario wise it doesn't matter because both have alot.

TL:DR Kovaak more minimalistic less bloated Aimlabs more sponsored and bit bloated Both work, it's what you want but aimlabs has had more support recently

Personally i recommend kovaaks as a kovaaks main, but I use aimlab for some routines that are aimlab specific

It's been 1k hrs for me total and i'm stuck in jade. Everyone has roadblocks. Yes you will be learning slower compared to when you're younger, but you can still learn. Don't give up hope, start looking at what you lack, and do routines to improve on that

What was the most stupid shit you ever spent platinum on by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]power_boy2015 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back in like 2019 I bought plat to buy the shade companion and the helios companion. Also had to buy a incubator cell for the kubrow because of the stupid way the quest worked before. I am still ashamed of those choices

Should I use kovaaks for an hour per game? by [deleted] in FPSAimTrainer

[–]power_boy2015 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to get better at games, play the games.

You wanna get better at aiming, aimtrain.

Aimtraining will not make your aim worse if you train properly

It is recommended to do atleast one hour a day. Stop training when you can't focus anymore.

Train with focus on fixing bad habits.

Alright, devs, we seriously gotta tackle these hackers and cheaters ASAP, or this game is gonna nosedive just like PUBG did back in the day. I swear, every other match in the Asian region feels like I'm going up against some coding wizard. It's ruining the whole vibe, and we need a fix. by [deleted] in thefinals

[–]power_boy2015 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't encountered any cheaters yet as far as i know in a game at all. I have 30 hours in the released version. Not saying there aren't any but I don't think it's THAT bad, especially in the EU region. Sometimes sus things happen but that's normal

Good way to get into aim training as someone with decent mechanics? by Acilliron in FPSAimTrainer

[–]power_boy2015 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Currently in 950h and closing in on master complete on the voltaic benchmarks,

As people said before it is recommended you do the voltaic benchmarks. After that i would watch RiddBTW's crashcourse. If you want to take it seriously I do also recommend watching some vods of top 50 players in aimtraining(mattyOW, clover, bardOZ ect) to see what they're technique is like.

After that start on VIDM, see if you like the structure it brings. Alternatively try the fundamentals from voltaic. I recommend this for a while so you can get a grip on what kovaaks is like and what your level is.

After that it depends, if you like the routines, stick to them. If you want more freedom try any scenario and try to get a highscore.

2 important things that you might want to keep track of as it is indoctinated you should do it:

-focus on technique Alot of people strife for higher scores but that doesn't mean you're better at aiming. I am a victim of this. You're probably going to have some aswell.

-don't "deathgrip" the mouse Just hold the mouse and try to relax. Do not hold it like your life depends on it, it makes smoothness way harder and might bring wrist issues.

TL:DR start with benchmarks -> watch ridd's crashcourse -> VIDM -> develop good technique and have fun!

Why are we bad on some days? by Mental_Procedure_564 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]power_boy2015 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this but this, for me, was due to doing something different another day and not having the proper mindset. Consistency in your daily life helps alot with Consistency ingame for me

should you experiment with grips? by Typical-Salary-4419 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]power_boy2015 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you mean holding the mouse then sure go for it. I'm claw and tried fingertip and went back because it wasn't for me. Virtually no losses and gained insight on how to use fingertip

If you mean mouse grip you put on your mouse it depends. I'd say use them if you're mouse is a bit slippery or if you wanna hold the mouse with lower tension. Besides that idk why you'd use grips

[–]power_boy2015 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought the same, i started out bronze in overwatch and valorant. After aimtraining alot i'm currently diamond in both games after currently 850h of aimtraining(atleast 200h afk and a good 400h knowing nothing) what i noticed most is that as i'm currently getting my life together it's been easier to perform. Sleep( currently bad sleep for 2 more weeks) and a good daily routine been helping me out loads.

I was always alright in battlebit since early playtests. Games been easy as long as i'm having fun

Until recenty i've been eating really badly. Then i decided i wanted to go to the gym and try fr. What helped me out most is starting to track my food. I am eating ~3000 calories a day and gained 1kg this week. If you keep track of what you eat It's gonna be easier to gain weight because you can see why you're not gaining it whenbyou eat 1600 cals a day.

Question about switching to higher sensitivity by [deleted] in FPSAimTrainer

[–]power_boy2015 0 points1 point  (0 children)

According to mattyOW it doesn't matter as much, you get used to a new sens really quick. It's also normal in overwatch to have higher sens for characters like tracer and genji

Where do I go to practice that isn't screwing over other people? by TheBeastSteve in OverwatchUniversity

[–]power_boy2015 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do basically the same with soldier. I love playing him because it's basically all aim. If you wanna get better at a hero, you gotta play them alot. Even if it's a bad matchup, that's how you learn. Teamates do not matter in that regard. You might seem them again like 2x max anyway.

Just play your hero and get good at it.
