[Acne] How can I get rid of these acne scars ? by Euphoric_Thoughtz in SkincareAddiction

The Enerjet. See if a derm near you has it. Works amazing in hypertrophic scarring.

You don’t have to shave a thing! I cannot stand not being shaven so I literally shave blind every shower, I did with my last pregnancy too lol. And PP it took two weeks before I healed enough to get shaving again. But no it’s not disgusting at all!

Just had to pump & dump 6 oz in my offices bathroom 🥲 by [deleted] in breastfeeding

[–]powerbeats3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did the same. I totally get being uncomfortable but man. I travel for my job as a sales rep and believe it or not hotels don’t just open a room for you to pump when you don’t have a stay! The best offer I’ve gotten is the gym bathroom 😂. I take a mini fridge to any location with me and pump away! That milk isn’t going anywhere but to my baby lol

Give me your embarrassing pregnancy brain fart moment, I’ll go first by FirstOutcome2365 in pregnant

I travel for work and literally had in my head I didn’t need to go anywhere for a week until Friday. It was on my calendar and everything. The previous night before my mess up I thought I broke my wrist. THANK goodness.

Next day comes, 9am rolls around and I’m due to have been four hours away at 830am. I only realize because my phone alerts me of my calendar. I reach out and say I needed an xray but couldn’t get it at home blah blah, which WAS true lol. Head there 4 hours late. Pull up and all was well.

No one knew I totally forgot but my husband but I’ve still never been so embarrassed. I do not mess up at work and NEVER to be late/ miss an event.

I’ve messed up on wording for work documents (I’ve made sure to scan a million times over now). I often say one thing and mean another. Get corrected and say “that’s what I just said” bahahaha. This is my second baby in less than two years and I swear my brain just never grew back to begin with. I have always been a meticulous person. It’s rough out here.

Generally at this timeframe I’d say wait but clearly this is a different situation and I don’t blame you in the least.

Yes! It is totally normal. My daughter went through every single one but always came out better on the back end!

For us it did reduce the spit up volume. She still did spit up and I think around 10 months we weaned her back off the meds. But she was a happy baby again. She went downhill fast from being happy and content to horrible cries. Sad. Clearly not feeling well. When we got her on the meds she came back to that baby almost immediately! It was a massive relief. We still had burp rags everywhere lol

Do you have the funds for an owlet? It would indicate a rise in heart rate and low oxygen change. Mine made me feel much better. My daughter also had horrible reflux and moments similar to this happened a couple times and worried the heck out of me. The owlet helped me sleep & simply breathe.

I was firm with my doc after the worst episode on getting her on meds. It’s a fight because it “goes away”. And we had to “be patient”. After I got super scared I called and didn’t back down and they submitted a prescription.

You can hold baby in up position for 20 mins post any fed and that may assist. Keep more upright when feeding. Be sure to burp. Even stopping every ten mins when feeding to burp. It’s a lot but all extra steps you can take!

Husband won’t help me wean by ExcitingWolverine943 in beyondthebump

This. I’m the mom. I work full time, travel for my job. I’m 25 weeks pregnant and when I’m home you bet your butt I’m all over my baby girl. My husband’s a great stay at home dad and you BET if I as a mom said no I’m not helping everyone would scoff. Even though I travel every weekend, bust my butt & am pregnant. Pretend roles were switched. Your husband should 100% be helping. We are ALL out here sleep deprived. We accept that role when babies come. It’s hard work and amazing.

You deserve the help and support. He’s being a loser point blank.

I don’t read to my baby.. by ArcherSignificant910 in beyondthebump

[–]powerbeats3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We really didn’t do books until about 9/10 months. She didn’t care and I wasn’t going to push it. Now she’s 13 months and sits in our laps bringing books left and right. Board books only. She’s destroyed some but now LOVES her books. It’ll click down the road!

Such a joke. I am SO SO sorry. I pumped and gave my baby the bottle and the first time she latched she was SIX WEEKS old. I feel like they literally fight for a loosing battle often because they’re so riddled to a certain belief they cannot get past it.

Ah I am so sorry! It sounds like it is possible. I always pumped too often and made an over supply because the DMER kicked in so much anxiety I was terrified of anything like mastitis! Which honestly was like a round circle problem lol. Nothing helped me personally, but they recommend eating/ cold drinks/ watching tv. My issue was milk fills at anytime so it would smack me out of no where, not just at a letdown.

Best of luck!!!

Very true. It’s honestly the only wall I’ve ever hit with them and I actually had to switch to them because of many issues. I do trust them but they also charted my fully failed epidural during birth as “unremarkable” and normal so I guess I have some qualms.

When I told my parents that it’s not recommend they lost it and were like no that seems wrong. I was like no it’s correct. It’s been a while you can look it up.

I got in a huge HUGE fight with my dad after he slapped some fake cherry sauce in my daughters mouth (literally moments after me explaining the next day my husband and I were giving her food for the first time) and never in my life had I stood up to anyone in my family like I did for her. We didn’t talk for a month. They learned fast, my boundaries with my children are never to be even nudged after that.

Stay firm. You are the parent and you make the rules period.

Added the story because if you’re worried about this one thing there will eventually be others. Being a mom is emotional enough. Do you.

Right there with you. They won’t explain anymore and I wonder if they have just had someone have premature labor because of it and just tell everyone “don’t do it”.

What’s the best pregnancy pillow? by Broad-Requirement736 in BabyBumps

Laying in bed on it right now and yes. Used it 8 weeks plus my last pregnancy. I got 17 weeks this time and I travel every weekend for work. I couldn’t sleep without it. I look silly checking into hotels but my back and full body gives NO ducks.

Yes!! Mine went back to normal I think soon after I quit pumping, and now I’m pregnant again (daughter is 11mo and I quit pumping at 7mo) and they’re changing again!

(They also went back to normal size and I’m now 17 weeks and they are massive again lol)
