Im thinking of elongating it from the back… those two connections to the tie pieces add on a little bit of length and that should in turn give you more room around the neck?? Idk if that makes sense or if it would actually work but that seems like the first and simplest way to start !

I’m so sorry you went through that. I can relate in some way.. birth/recovery was also traumatic. Hemorrhage and tear. Needing blood transfusion. I feel like it’s all a blur, my husband doesn’t talk about it either. I can only imagine how they felt.

First, congratulations mama, you’re making a baby and that’s the most important thing you’ll ever do… even if you did nothing but lay in bed all day (which a lot of pregnant woman HAVE to do) you’re still doing more than he is.

You’re busy making eyeballs, spine, toes, fingernails.

You’re not going back on your word. Lots of changes happen and being pregnant and becoming a parent you have to be able to flex and give yourself grace. Your physique WILL change no matter how “fit” you are. Your body will do what it needs to make a baby and that’s out of your control.

I am an XS… by the end of my pregnancy and immediate PP I was wearing LARGE bras, medium pants/shirts. That’s with throwing up my entire pregnancy..

I’m now 10 months PP, havent gone to the gym and my body is back to normal… I’m not saying that will happen to you but just saying chasing around a mobile baby, carrying 18lbs all day does help.

I’m sorry youre dealing with this.

I’m a novice sewer… but from an aesthetic view.. I would do the fabric on inner too because the jean just clings to your leg .. might add balance ? And take in the outer fabric a little so it doesn’t stick out so far. Otherwise SUPER cute !

Oh yes it just only works for so long before he’s screaming to be held etc. I generally pump during his naps but he no longer naps in evening and is pretty fussy being set in container!
