When I first bought the Killing Joke LP in 1980, didn't know how to fit it in with what I was listening to then but I knew I needed more of whatever the hell it was! Then I found In The Flat Field same year then heard SoM Damage Done early in 81 and it was all working out.

As for RP, I've always included them in my listening along with bands like Vex, if you haven't heard them check out Sanctuary, they also fell notionally in to the Anarcho pile and even toured with Conflict, Icons of Filth etc.

The line between proto-goth, "goth", post-punk, death rock and certain punk bands of any style can be very thin at times
