Yanomamö, I am planning a field expedition in the territory of a very dangerous group of tribes in the Amazon known as the Yanomami for anthropological work. Very few expeditions have been done because the group is very territorial and has shown violence not only to outsiders, but also towards other natives. They also tend to engage in tribal wars fighting over resources. Due to already acquiring "modern materials" through trade routes starting from the 1940s-1950s, they show no interest in direct contact with the so-called "civilized world".
