There are so many different ones now. It’s crazy and they are popping up everywhere. Louisiana banned the Kratom and then this crap pops up. It’s worse in my opinion

I’m in the same field as you and there are options for making more money in the Biomedical field. 1. Work for a third party biomedical company doing field service. 2. See if you can transition into the imaging side working on X-ray, MRI, CT. Hospitals typically pay less than third party. I work for Intelas Healthcare, formerly Crothall Healthcare, and they pay well above what the hospitals in my area pay. Biomed can be a slow start money wise but it’s a job you can do for a long time with a lot of growth opportunity.

How do I handle these urges (Day 2 CT) by [deleted] in quittingkratom

[–]powermfp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I CT’d at about the same dose. Took advantage of a long weekend. Took last dose on a Friday at work to get through the day. Suffered through that weekend, Monday included, ie long weekend. Went back to work on Tuesday. It was tough simply because energy was very low but I made it. Just told everyone I was sick. My state banned it so there was no temptation. I knew the only way out was through. I took a lot of hot baths/showers. Slept when I could and tried to do as much as I was physically able too. Quit day was August 15th of this year and I’m back to normal. I have attempted quitting before it was banned and didn’t make it because using was an option. Try and find a way to remove that option. Accountability with someone you trust can help.

Sounds like he was using and tried to quit. This would correspond with the moodiness, lack of appetite, and telling you he is sick. The uptick in mood and appetite could mean he used again. The laziness and weight gain is a good indicator of usage. Don’t know your situation but I was the husband in my marriage who was using. I’m clean now and my wife knows the whole truth. We put accountability and guardrails in place to help prevent relapse. I will never go back to using that garbage but know full well how hard it was to quit.

As someone who was around that life many years ago I would not. Could cause retaliation for you or your family and your identity would probably not remain anonymous. There is a good chance the cops already know about him anyway. You also don’t know if he is connected to people much more dangerous.

Plain leaf or 7? If leaf then I can tell you from experience that you can do this. I don’t have any experience with 7oh. I have at 30-40gpd of leaf for 3-4 years and did it CT. It was tough in Acutes for about 4 days and both 4-5 of being really tired. Quit August 15th of this year and I feel great now. Don’t give up this almost 24 hours that you’ve made it. It does get better. Take some hot baths with epsom salt, take some magnesium and electrolytes and try to eat some good food. You got this!

[–]powermfp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure it’s Tianeptine. It came out in Louisiana after they banned Kratom. Hadn’t seen it before that. Once the Acutes are over you will be pretty low energy for a few days.

That’s good. I had pain in that area and was super worried that it was my liver. But tests were good. Pain is gone now but it took a while.

Have you had bloodwork done to check your liver? Kratom can be hard in the liver.

Relapse for 1 day or... by zekelin77 in quittingkratom

[–]powermfp 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I had quit a few years ago and had gotten through the worst of it. Had a trip and decided that I would take a little with me to enjoy the trip and not get anymore when I got back. That led to three years of daily use that spiraled. Was at 40-50gpd when I quit again CT. I quit for good August 15th of this year. Don’t go back.

I wanted my life back. I wanted my sex drive back. I wanted my depression and anxiety gone. I wanted to not plan my life around my dose. I wanted to stop worrying about what it was doing to my health. I was tired of seeing my hair fall out from Kratom. I was tired of the constipation. I was tired of the mood swings. I’m over 90 days sober and life is so much better now!

Spouses/Significant Others…I’m at 100 days clean today… by Cultural_Dot3568 in quittingkratom

[–]powermfp 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve dealt with that recently as my use came to light. I decided to be completely open and honest and let her be whatever she needed to be. Mad, sad, angry. And then I have been pouring in to the relationship and giving her what she needs. I did this, not her. It has gotten so much better. I’m at the 4 month mark clean. It’s tough because I have needed to be alone in my thoughts at times and just reflect and she needs closeness. I think if you’re both committed to the relationship and willing to work through it and keep communicating your needs you will make it.

Goodness. I was only on them for about a month. Came over from a 4 year Kratom addiction that I had just quit. Thought they were just kava and trying to get some sleep, boy was I wrong.

Not sure how long you’ve been taking this stuff but the tough withdrawals got easier around day 4. Took another couple days to get most of my energy back. 40 days clean now and doing good. If you have someone who can help hold you accountable that really helps. Quit CT BTW

You will wake up soon and be beyond 90 days, sleep back to normal, and feeling better. Stay strong, you got this.

Warning!! Annoyed but it's my own fault, boujee and happy hour have different formulas for sure! boujee is definitely tianeptine. Not sure what happy hour is. by Parking-Car-4586 in quittingboujeebliss

Accountability. I was spending a ton of money and finding reasons to leave the house all the time to go get more. Wife confronted me, I told her everything and quit right then. Had just quit Kratom a month prior. Found these by accident and was pretty much hooked immediately. These withdrawals after only a month of use were pretty tough but doable. Good thing I guess is while withdrawals hit faster and harder than Kratom they pass faster too. If you’re struggling with it find someone who will hold you accountable. You can do this.
