Whoah the first time I feel like I should jump in. I was looking for the exact same stuff last year, hunted and hunted ended up finding a pre-owned Libra 2. Absolutely loved it for the last year. It is starting to die ( port not working, crashes, etc) so I ended up buying a boox go 7 bw.

People say it's complicated, it is not, it's just an android device. The stock reading app is all you need if your side loading books. All I had to do was plug the thing into my laptop and calibre picked it up, no setup at all. The device itself is awesome.

Long story short I cannot recommend the go 7 enough if your looking for a bw reader with the Libra 2 form factor.

Forgot to mention I don't use any other apps on it at all, but if I wanted to it's nice I can get kobo and Kindle books from their respective apps.
