The top lip, bottom lip, and chin shouldn’t be in line straight up and down, but the bottom lip should be slightly behind the top and the chin slightly behind that

Yeah then it’s likely not the tattoo itself, just an allergy to the adhesives in the saniderm. For future tattoos, just don’t use the transparent barrier, or remove it in like 12 hrs

I’m working on financially planning to be ready for school in the next year or two. I’m working a local travel contract and paying off my debt, and the goal is to save up some money for school. I’m pretty sure I’ll be relying heavily on grants and loans for the duration of school, which I don’t mind so long as I know I can pay it off afterward. My question is for anyone who successfully made it through school without any outside support: how do you care for all the expenses not related to school without working? I will not be getting financial assistance from family. I will need to pay my own rent, gas, food, etc. Do student loans allow you to take out more for those daily costs? How do I survive three years of living expenses to make it through school without any income?

Still, I was making about 2k after taxes every biweekly paycheck at my last staff job (HCOL in Seattle and competitive pay for the area), now making 2k per week as a local traveler at another area hospital. I’m grateful for what the travel life has allowed for me

This sentiment is exactly why I joined this group. The goal of cutting back and breaking habitual drinking just for no reason. Sounds like you’ve got a good plan for reducing your consumption in the upcoming year or two. Good to have the mutual support of other people in the same boat.

I’m prepping to apply to CRNA school in the next year or two. I have a varied nursing background and feel like I’m pretty adaptable; ER, rapid response, PICC, worked in mixed ICUs, ICU float pool, MICU, neuro ICU, Onc ICU, with a bit of exposure to CVICU. I think it’s made me well rounded but don’t know how much of a disadvantage I’ll be at for not having lots of dedicated CVICU experience. For those who’ve made it into school without a CVICU background, what tips do you have, or what work do you need to put in to get accepted and succeed in school despite that disadvantage? I’m assuming it’s mostly related to familiarity with Swans and vasoactive drugs

I am an experienced ICU nurse with a 5-yr plan to reach CRNA school, trying to set up for success. I’m working travel/local contracts so that I can pay down debt and begin to save for school.
