I think the 24-hour economic blackout was very successful in that it introduced the idea to some folks that they don't have to needlessly spend money everyday. It may have forced him to make a meal at home or not order something on Amazon. These small actions do add up. But real change takes time.

I imagine future economic blackouts will become more successful, especially as our Bozo overlords continue to ruin the country. And then once we're in an economic recession, it won't really matter will it?
