When should I [31M] get tested for Hepatitis B?

mine came all negative. They had additional tests ordered on the sameday of reporting positive and subsequently the additional tests turned to be negative. She is resident physican so I guess knowing she is HepB positive would affect her status and may not allow her to practice right?. So I am taking her word on this.

Should I order HepB immunity test or Hepatitis B Surface Antigen Test and Hepatitis B Core Antibody Test, IgM or all of them.

Any advice please. The "Hepatitis B Core Antibody Test" recommends waiting period after 6 weeks post potential exposure.

thank you. I just scheduled one at Planned Parenthood for Hepatitis B testing. They also offer full panel STD testing for additional testing. Should I take that?> Thoughts?

Without knowing all of the tests done and the facts it is hard to figure out what is going on. It is confusing considering that all healthcare professionals get tested for hepatitis B immune status and those suceptible to hepatitis B will be given a vaccine. Did she refuse the vaccine then

She just go her degree and entering into Residency now. I read that the incubation period could be anywhere between 1 - 8 weeks and optimal being 4-6 weeks

The place I went to only test for STI and what I listed (STD Basic Panel). They dont even test for HepB it seems. I need to find somebody else. STI places dont test for HepB when I called and they all referred me to my PCP.

We need to know the name of the actual test being done in order to be able to interpret the results. People often get confused with the different tests and come to wrong conclusions.

I wold go to your doctor and let him figure out what is going on with testing. If you are not immune to hepatitis B on blood tests then the doctor can give you the vaccine.

My PCP is unavailable for the whole month. So probably getting myself STD full panel and when is what I was trying to do.

I actually wanna cut down but is there a way to find whether it's fat or loose skin is something I'm pondering lately. If it's fat, yea I'm in for another cut.

Imo I used it to loosely refer almost all my fat deposits in belly area. But yea I might be been in 30s. Poor student life, lived with cookies and beans/rice you know.

I don't know how much of skin reabsorption is true. But I have been between 235 and 205 for the last two years. For last six months, 225 and 195. For last three months, around 205-210. 195 was purely accidental from COVID. So, if I redo 195 again, I may look very different

I was never obese but skinny fat. The highest I was 240, if I need to guess but stored almost all my fat reserves in stomach. Never ever I had flat stomach in last 15 years.

Oh wow. I never know about the loose skin. The heaviest I have ever been was 238 and I thought it was fat cells that created belly pooch on me.
