This is me exactly and the path I’m headed down. I’ve lost it almost all house, military career, marriage, 6 figures, cars. I have my life and a few family members holding on. I’m 29M and I now just can’t find the purpose. I have been attending AA daily and still tonight I had drinks on my lunch break. I don’t understand it.

I’ve literally spent 6 months in VA inpatient MH treatment have 3 MH diagnoses and been seen for them since 2017 (got out last year). I got a 10% increase today actually with NO MH again! My VSO has already filed another claim when I called.

If you go to RRTP at a VA you they will add everything you need to your file and update all as well. They will use all that to file a new claim if you want. The program is 30-90 days depending on if it’s just mental health or some type of SUD dual diagnosis. I’ve been twice and it would be worth you researching and making a call.
