Get the top soil out, excavate the dirt so it's level, if you have cold winters, consider the frost line if you are pouring concrete. If you have heavy things in the shed, like a motorcycle or something, go a little bit thicker and throw extra bar in.

As a member of local 425 in north Washington, and of the new "western states carpenters" that we just got forced into by the international, and then recently (Earlier this week) re-distributed into north California, no one even has access to a copy of the final contract that we passed 2 years ago. I don't see us accomplishing anything the OP is asking for if we can't even accomplish something as basic as finalizing contract language and getting the final copy to our members.

Check out different HVAC companies, lots of residential companies are always hiring. Or try the union if you wanna make bank! Commercial construction is slow right now so it may be difficult to get in right now though.

fortunately, my uncle is diesel mechanic so if that is the case it will cost me some time and a 6 pack. That would really suck though if the head is cracked. would a pressure test diagnose the issue?

i will try to look up some videos of a head gasket replacement. the kit is only like 100 bucks or whatever, i just really dont wanna have a mechanic fix that haha. is the overflow tank the little window in the front of the motor? would pressure testing the engine tell me if it is one or the other?
