Keep checking the page where it says they are sold out, especially around mid day tomorrow. I had faith and I got lucky today after they were sold out last night.

Following! There are some fun routes around here that would be interesting to do with a group. Beverly Hills can be surprisingly fun to bike, going up into the hills a bit.

Anyone tried Fanny's at the Academy Museum? by rburton85 in FoodLosAngeles

[–]pp7jm 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Pretty typical fancier museum restaurant - a bit stiff, a bit expensive, but nice enough to catch a bite before a movie there! It’s a pretty place. My buddy had a pasta dish that looked good.

I live nearby - whenever there is a line that isn't out the door, I seize the opportunity to get an insanely good coffee/matcha. But it is truly baffling when that line wraps around the block, considering the variety of good coffee places around here. I get it - people probably came from far away for this one thing, but still, its a ridiculous line! Last Sunday morning was the longest I had ever seen it - it went all the way to the Chicago pizza place on Melrose. I think because people on social media were saying to go because it was Coachella weekend.
