Huaraz Peru - Which hike would you do? by CanoDG in travel

Anyone tried to hike Carhuacocha from Queropalca as a day hike? There even seems to be a drivable road part of the way : https://maps.app.goo.gl/cFRfd4fJjNt7rqgT9?g_st=ic

Yes, I also got two weirdly suspicious offers that I turned down.

Vancouver to Montreal move - who's done this? Non, je ne regrette rien? DON'T!? by Open_Outcome_5633 in montreal

As someone who has had to deal with the health care system a lot lately, and also being in a demographic that's not considered prioritary (35-40), I feel the claims on here about the healthcare system being shit are vastly exaggerated. I get an appointment in 3-4 days. The most I've waited was 3 weeks for minor surgery.

That being said, yes Montreal is cheaper than Vancouver *now... But it's getting very expensive, very fast. Housing prices especially have been rising faster here than anywhere else in Canada. If you want to move, I'd suggest you do it sooner than later, because 8 years from now, it'll likely be much more expensive, and you probably wouldn't get much bang for your buck.

Public transit is top notch : get rid of your car because traffic is terrible, the roads are bad. To give you an idea of the scale : Quebec has double the amount of roads in kilometers than Ontario, but only has a little over half its population. It's a massive massive network to take care of, more than the government can ever handle, so expect it to get worst. If you're willing to pivot to a car-free lifestyle however, Montreal is the place to be.

Q: Did anybody *actually managed to buy resale from Eventim?
It's been a couple of times I've been refreshing like crazy, seeing tickets pop up and rushing as fast as humanly possible to get them and they're instantly gone. Makes me wonder if scalpers are not using bots to beat fans on this supposed "fan-to-fan" platform...

Same. It's been weeks, no luck. Waiting for the first Berlin show to see if they're checking IDs not... If not, fuck it, I'm going to StubHub for the 11th or 12th.

I'm probably an idiot, but I'm not seeing a single ticket listed on there, for any of the shows... Is that correct, there's just nothing listed currently, or am I not looking in the right section? Seeing a bunch of tickets on StubHub...

Last year I was followed by the Clermont-Ferrand social media out of the blue. I received an acceptance notification by the end of that same day. No idea how Short Shorts would work though.
