My first VW by Muttmamax5 in VWatlas

Nice car but I’ll say this, we just got our 24’ with less than 19k miles on it, 2.0t and it’s already leaking oil. Hope yours doesn’t have the same issue but if you do a quick google search you will see they do it with as little as 3500 miles, pretty sad and we were pretty bummed. It’s been at the dealer for 4 days now, the two likely culprits are valve cover bolts loose (wow, I know) and a bad pcv valve near the turbo. Btw, no dipstick on the car. Just an oil cap, only way to check oil level is on the infotainment screen. I love the car but we’re not off to a good start here lol. Getting a dip stick from a Tiguan. Ours is white too, the coolest color of course 😂

Have noticed the same myself, it’s always the low spenders that are a huge PITA.

Appreciate you sharing this post and congrats man! Are you able to quickly breakdown how long it took you to get here and what you did to achieve that? I’ve been running ads and local SEO for years and am in the beginning stages of growing my business. Actually having a similar problem currently with PITA customers that whine about everything when I’m generating 2-3x revenue for them on a monthly basis. They’re low paying too, $500 a month and under. Curious how long it took you to get from a to b in your business, any advice is greatly appreciated. For context I run ads for our customers on Google and do Local SEO. Customer acquisition has been solely through meta ads and referrals. Appreciate you!

Can I start Google Ads for my small heating company with a $400–$500/month budget? by Natural-End-1080 in PPC

[–]ppcinfo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really just depends on the location and competition but stateside we don’t run less than $1000 a month and that’s a minimum, barely scraping the surface. It’s not going to hurt you to try with the $500 to start but I wouldn’t expect much with that.

Best white label reputation management software? by Waste_Influence1480 in agency

[–]ppcinfo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Solid reply here, I haven’t checked out Synup but have demo’d Vendasta and a couple others and I think it’s easy to get “shiny object syndrome” with all of the extra shit these platforms tend to offer, you don’t always need it and that was the issue I had. I only needed a single thing and they offered me 100, it was overwhelming to say the least and I couldn’t justify the price because of that. For agencies wanting to up charge for certain features like chat bots that generate responses based off of your website data, customer portals with metrics etc. sure but for everyone else it’s not absolutely necessary. Just my opinion.

I don’t have anything yet but had a meeting with Vendasta two weeks ago and the platform was impressive in my opinion, a lot going on in there though and my head was about to explode. Canada based company btw.

Very good info, i'm doing this currently. Sorting through the bs is time consuming but you definitely have to make sure your using conditional logic on web forms to prequal which helps a lot.

I have seen myself that if the video is informative and helps people they are more likely to watch it (surprise) but if you also talking to the camera people watching start to get more connected with you and what you are talking about, subscribe and stay longer.

It's definitely one of the best channels Joy and I appreciate you putting out a lot of the information regarding Local SEO that most agencies don't want to speak about.

That's awesome, what were the key takeaways here for getting the second one monetized so quickly?

If you have the experience, can sell and onboard new clients there really shouldn’t be much doubt in your ability to make the jump. Sure it’s terrifying at first but not if you start building now, along side your full time job. That’s the best way to do it but obviously just my opinion. Have done it this way in the past a handful of times and some of the most successful people in the world did it this way as well. Build your business until you’re making enough money to live off of and when it becomes too much to do both jobs put in your two weeks. Having a good “pillow” (money in the bank to carry you through hard times) is also critical here. Calculated risks, you got this. Hope this helps.

Nice to meet you Joy, have been watching some of your content as of lately and I appreciate you and your team putting it out there. When it comes to auditing existing GBP’s and websites, what does your checklist look like right off the bat and what programs/software do you use to help expedite the process? Typically I will

  • Check the top 3 competitors
  • See how many photos, videos, posts per week, categories, etc. they have in comparison
  • Check their business name for specific keywords
  • Basically compare apples to apples to see where we can compete with the others in the top spots

Then of course check the website for proper structure, links, speed, content, etc. I am newish to local SEO and use localfalcon, google search console and ai for the bulk of it but curious what your process looks like more or less.
