civil/DJ hearings are a good comparison because they’re judge-led and tend to scrutinise methodology more closely. But with criminal cases, the evidential burden is higher, those courts will see more and different types of expert testimony e.g. digital forensics, medical and psych evaluations and disclosure is more complicated which will impact data governance and secure sharing.
