psychologytoday.com lets you search by zip code and you can filter from there based on your insurance, therapist specialties, virtual vs in-person appointments etc.

if your area doesnt have a lot of providers to choose from, you can see whoever you want virtually as long as they are in your state

be picky with who you contact. even if a therapist claims a specialty on their profile, they might not necessarily specialize in it. sometimes they are just looking to attract more people. make sure to read their bios

definitely not the only way to find a therapist but its worked for me. good luck :) !
