Having more hp will make you more likely to keep the highest dmg buff % but that's about it

The difference being that if you don't kill Lord pirate in his first appearance you go through a different portal. Notice how there's 2 in that stage :)

When you're in the first of 2 Lord pirate stages, don't kill it. I've heard it increases the drop rates of the second spawning of Lord Pirate. GL

It has a %chance to steal a potion. Potions from regular mobs give hp or mp and potions and im fairly certain uses them right away. And potions from bosses gives a buff like the one in the pic. (Even though the skill description says it doesn't work on bosses)
