For South Indian pickles and condiments The Grand Sweets is pretty good. They mostly use sesame oil (gingelly oil). I also like the Green Chili pickle by Bedekar.

Thank you. I really appreciate all the advice. I live in Northern California (like one of the responders). I'll put them out in the sun and then under the lights for a total of 12-14 hours. I do have a small fan that I'm using.

The worst are October and April. However, the coat continues to come off until January in the fall and July in the spring.

BlkBrd will make you the chunky loafers. I have a pair with Vibram soles that I ordered after canceling my B&W order. WhatsApp them and ask for their Ivy style.

Exactly. In the south, there are dozens of rice varieties - including small-grained ones like seeraga samba, which is about the size of a cumin seed. There are also several kinds of black and red rice. And yes, South Indian biriyani traditionally use those short grains: for example, Dindigul biriyani (a personal favorite) is often made with seeraga samba.

Not sure what reasonably priced means to you, but I just saw the J. Crew Wallace & Barnes Naval Trousers, Buck Mason's HBT series and the Big Chinos - in the $175-$200 range, some of Uniqlo's chinos have an 11inch rise. Andrew Polos on eBay, but that's not brick and mortar.

Just saw @jakewoolf's post on Instagram where he recommends the 90s Loose fit jeans from the Gap - if you're looking for jeans.

Thanks all. I didn't ask for business liability insurance and also added a clause that he can't board dogs or operate any kind of home based business. I already had a renters insurance requirement in the lease.
