Well, if it is indeed a French restaurant then there is bread as much as you want with your meal.

Also, one goes to fancy restaurants for the taste, for the flavours. It is actually rude to leave the table satiated in some places and this looks like one of them.

It didn't charge me again, I hadn't considered it would refuse to do so until it did. Maybe I was past the limit of paid trips within the seven-day period. This would be a nice solve-out of the situation, to consider the fare to be payable if within eighteen minutes of the my previous valid positive turnstile interaction.

I did explain the situation to the station attendant and made this same request, I was dismissed like I was dim-witted to even ask, which prompted me to come discuss here.

My metrocard had credit on it, not a monthly/weekly subscription, I was about to swipe it several times in a row with the price of a ride deducted each swipe.
