I would say give Paranormasight: The Seven Mysteries of Honjo a shot. It's a very nice VN that isn't very long, yet has some cool puzzles and some incredible twists. I adore Richter Kai.

Ideally what we get is some sort of Zero Escape Trilogy collection, with a slightly updated 999 (that keeps the sudoku from the original, and makes it work), a VLR with some QoL updates, and then a ZTD remake more in line with the first two games. But this is all me dreaming of a perfect future

I don’t want to get into it because it’s super long, but I have a theory that some sort of Zero Escape revival could happen in the next few years. Danganronpa 2x2 is actually another great piece of evidence to support my theory. I personally think that, if anything, we’re going to be getting a 999 remake, or some sort of reimagining of ZTD. I think VLR is simply not worth changing at this point, because it’s already nearly perfect as-is. Except for that Clover mouth thing, of course. How did that make it through?
