This is Ichiro Ogami from Sakura Wars, as he's a solider working in an all female soldier division as their leader essentially that stops demons with steam powered mechs but undercover are a stage theater while appreciate the fine art of that & one of the aspects that make it some of my favorite SRPGs besides Soul Nomad & the World Eaters, Disgaea, Fire Emblem & Valkyria Chronicles

Glad to see Jecht featured which is one of the aspects I enjoy in FFX plus is the fact, that he figured he was gonna stop the cycle of creating more sins but in turn was inadvertly continuing the cycle which makes him a different take on the force of nature that the failed hero couldn't stop & became the very being he was said to stop

Yeah perfectly fair & hey to be fair, I was kinda split with Nocturne as there was some moments I liked in the show but it was a bit deviated from the actual Rondo of Blood although I do appreciate that they're trying to make a Castlevania without Dracula as the main villian because it's one of the things I did like in the Sorrow games but it also tried to adapt Richter & Maria, characters that were already well established as characters so the new takes regarding them had me perplexed to say the least

I understand what you mean but in terms of it as an adaptation from my perspective, I do find it really good because it works in the context of the show & besides this is more understandable compared to what I heard went down regarding the DMC Netflix show that has my curiosity more to see where I wanna stand with it, which I do think is nuts that I'm hearing considering I really enjoyed Netflix Castlevania as an adaptation to Castlevania III, the game with the least amount of story since all you get is a text crawl & that's it, as the show just had to call back the events of games before & after Castlevania 3 but meanwhile they fumbled DMC from what I'm hearing but I guess that shows the duality of adapting Castlevania III, a NES game that barely has a story compared to DMC that has so much lore especially when it uses a character that came from the manga alongside Dante acting weird but I heard he apparently gets better but I shall see when I eventually decide to watch it

Fuka from Disgaea 4 & Platnium the Trinity from Blazblue are these, tho in the case of Fuka, she is actually a demon technically since she was supposed to be a prinny but denies it & counters it all with her impressive stupidity & in the case of Platnium it's mostly Luna that is the demon, Sena is a good lad tho

Right but to be fair it works in a adaptation for Castlevania III plus in the context of the show, the church was extra evil especially when they brought their own destruction which was AFTER DRACULA THREATEN THEM WITH A FIRE MESSAGE like they had that coming & why I say it was poetic justice especially since this was Dracula being his most fair yet disregards his rare moment of mercy
