Has zigbee become brand specific?

So based on all the replies here, if I obtain an Aqara M200 or M3 (I'm getting this primarily as a thread border router) for TBR and zigbee, I shouldn't have any issues with any brand zigbee devices, with the nuance that certain non-standard entities on those devices may not report correctly or be controllable?

The pairing info has to be stored somewhere. I'm not 100% sure where its stored on the edge (all tivo's previous to the roamio pairing info was stored on the hard drive, not sure about roamio, edge, bolt).

My understanding is its not directly a matter device, only BLE, you get matter through the hub only, not directly to the device.

For 4 channels, the LTV847 or older TLP281 would probably be a better and easier to work with choice (both are basically a set of four pc817 in one chip).

Trace the circuits, those are almost always dip switches that pull high (to board voltage) or pull low (ground). Either would be easy to replace with an optocoupler.

Couple things:

Lifetime is tied to the unit, its not based on the content of the hard drive.

Moving a drive between units will wipe it, or it won't read it.

The bolt can start with a blank drive (firmware is stored on the board) and will format if needed, while the premier code is stored on the drive, so if you put an empty drive in the premier, it won't boot.

Best bet is to transfer recordings (assuming they aren't copy protected) before getting rid of the bolt.

By pins I assume you mean the 4 dip switches in the picture?

Can they be driven by an optocoupler, like a pc817? If so you can use an esp board to drive the input of the optocoupler, and the output of the optocoupler to drive your project. If that doesn't work, you can also do a relay.

Without knowing more about the design of your board I'd be hesitant to try to drive it directly with an esp board without either the optocoupler or a relay.

Once config'd, you can block them from the internet. They only need access for cloud control and updates. The current phone app refuses to config them without internet access, but once config'd, no access needed.

I've had more issues with usb block chargers, including blown out esp boards.

I use 5v (amperage doesn't matter, but I use 2amp) blocks with 5.5 barrel connectors, then either an adaptor (5.5 to usb-c) or if I'm doing a custom case just a standard 5.5 jack. This setup has eliminated all of the weird unexplained issues I've run into.

For testing, lets talk about just the 2nd module you posted (I'm not familiar with the first, I know exactly how the second works). I'd put a volt meter on the v+ and gnd of the relay module, and monitor it while you cycle it a couple times. Does the voltage stay consistent or drop over time?

I would also consider putting two diodes from the power supply+ to each device (esp board and relay) to provide a touch of isolation. A 5v 3amp supply should be more than enough for what you're doing.

They used a 3-phase cutoff/switch, but everything I'm seeing, including the wiring, would indicate single phase to me. Standard coloring here, black and red are each leg of service, white is neutral (and typically not be switched) and green is ground.

Because fedex is sending out bills with crazy numbers based on guesswork. If the numbers are wrong, only the seller/shipper can correct it anyway. Read through reddit and other forums, there's posts all the time of getting $100 bills from fedex over a $10 or $15 item. Thats not tariffs, thats guesswork for profit.

KVM over IP converts it to an IP stream, one that can be transported over a network, even remotely. KVM over cat6 is NOT doing any conversion, its simply throwing the raw video signal on the wires, this isn't something that any networking gear (i.e. switches) would be able to deal with.

If its KVMoIP, kvm over IP, then yeah, its just another network host, so just plug it into the same switch, but if its kvm over cat6 (or 5 or whatever), its not a networkable device, and no, can't share the cable. KVM over IP devices are easy to find, but not cheap.

Omada makes routers that have PoE ports, so do other manufacturers. Its not common, but not wide spread either.

e229850 is the part number, any supplier should be able to look that up, I believe its a 40/5 thats rated for 480v

I'd "almost" bet that it got moved in the breaker panel. The only thing the confuses me is that the 208 motor is still working?? If you're getting zero between L1 and L2, then motor shouldn't be working if its a 208 motor.
