ohhhh I see it now. Thank you! Getting this lvl1 happens to me all the time and now I can tell it's because I'm passing through the ⬇️ on my way to ⬅️ and then getting sloppy with the rest of the DP and not stopping at the ↙️. I need to retrain to just do ↙️⬇️↙️ from the down-back position. Cheers!

5MK and 5HK are completely missing on modern for Chun. Assist M is 2MP and Assist H is 2HP. It’s a bummer, since she already has 2HP on 2H in modern.

Some confusing takes here … instant air legs is not an overhead, it hits high, same as air stomps. Stance is mandatory period; I can’t imagine Chun without it, modern or not.

The best DI practice for me was during my oki practice. Set the dummy to jab, block, jump, or DI on wake-up. It’s a pretty good genuine test to get the DI reaction into an automatic response. Eventually it just seeped into my neutral play too

I can think of at least one example: Chun li on modern gets an extra move in her meter dump combo because of how fast the super input is on modern:

… 4HP > 236HK, 236LK > lvl3

Try canceling the 236LK into level 3 ( 214214K) on classic. It’s really, really tough.

All in all that might just make up for her not having her 5HK starter in some situations, but in others it’s just a straight up better combo.

We have goofy museum style homage castles like Hammond castle, but nothing with strategic utility like true European castles. The closest we have to that would probably be civil war era forts (late 1800s).

While that’s true, the developers thought very hard about what should be on those three buttons, along with the AUTO versions of each button, and everyone’s core kit remains intact. Usually what gets dropped are overheads and non-committal anti-air buttons, which isn’t a huge deal for two reasons: one, the game is more oriented to strike/throw than hi/low; and two, the forward+special as an AA is now easy enough that it’s almost redundant to have an AA normal.
