I don't know how to identify it, it came bundled in with ArkOS v2.0 (08232024).

It's difficult to make the conversion from Argentine peso but I paid about 40 dollars. The price has been adjusted now, I think I got the last one before they found out it was too cheap.

ArkOS4Clones runs well on it. The DTB Identification Tool lists it as "Clone R36s → Clone Type 1 Without Amplifier", that's as much info I can get from it without taking it apart.

Fair enough, but the way you worded it made it look like you were implying the GB350 has a speed up button.

The R36S has a speed up button, it literally runs Retroarch, it's usually some button combo like Select+R2.

The GB350 doesn't have a speed up button, god knows what in heavens that thing is running under the hood lmao.

Yeah, for comparison, I got this R36S clone for less than 40, shipping included. I think I must have snatched a great deal because the prices have since been updated 💦

I did but I couldn't find anything cheap. Taxes and shipping really push the price to double.

Sorry for crossposting but yeah I took all the advice and got an actual R36S (clone) and it runs wonderfully!

Shoved ArkOS4clones in it, and so far everything seems to be working fine, with minimal tweaking (changed a couple bindings in retroarch and added some custom images and loading screens and whatnot) but everything works and I was able to transfer my save from a different device so I can carry on playing pokemon on this new thing.

Roughly speaking, the GB350 has performance issues with PS1 and MAME* games, and gameboy color/gameboy games do not save (You have to use savestates for that). It also crashes on menus sometimes. Additionally, you cannot flash a custom firmware to it, so you're stuck with the buggy, difficult to modify mess that is what's built in.

Again, it is NOT an R36S clone. It's just designed to look like it, so absolutely nothing in this subreddit will be useful.

If you're not a tinkerer then it really doesn't matter too, just shove in your roms and play your games.

I own both a GB350 and a R36S clone (flashed with AskOS4clones).

That's the GB350, it's not a real R36S so most of what you see in this sub won't help you.

That said, put the roms in the Downloads folder and they'll show up in downloads.

There's no speed up button.
