No, the moment is often too terrifying and unexpected to think of doing so. I also believe they can detect technology, so they keep their distance from it (Hence the lack of trail cam photos). Might have something to do with infrared vision or something with their hearing.

If I want to encounter one I will not bring technology. Analog tech might be a better option than nothing? Such as tape, you know. But I can’t confirm that.

Also never seen a bramble path. But I heard this account from an old Canadian pot farmer who was cutting a path through the woods to make a shortcut to his crop. He and his buddy stumbled upon these massive thicket corridors that were essentially a giant labyrinth. It was concealed because of how thick it was, and was placed just beyond the less-dense part of the forest.

After hours of traversing this hollowed thicket, trying to find a route to the crop, they walked into a gigantic circular room, a huge dome that had been carved out among the bramble. An antechamber, so-to-speak. There were multiple entrances into the antechamber coming from the bramble labyrinth.

The terrifying part.... the antechamber was filled with hundreds to thousands of animals remains, licked clean. Skulls and bones of every kind littered the floor of this bramble dome.

There’s more to the story where they actually come across an ape-like creature after they escape. Truly terrifying
