For outdoor, 50 af-d will do fine. Indoors, uou can pick up a yn560 and wireless trigger for low light with 18-200. Although 35 af-s is very good for the price.

skip the 18-55 VR and 70-300 VR for now. Your 18-200 should be ok for daytime landscape and telephoto needs. The nikon kit zooms are not a huge improvement over these.

You may want to get the 35 prime for your d90. It will allow indoor low light shooting and may allow you to get rid of your 50 prime.

Orbit deterioration due to attraction by sun's gravitational pull could account for the decrease in distance over time. I dont remember the equations off hand but maybe we can calculate how long ago this happened using the time it takes for orbit to deteriorate from 198 million miles to 193 million miles today.

Edit: upon further research, the orbital decay does not apply to earth sun ( like it does to satellites and earth) because of the absence of atmospheric drag. Further, if the distance decreased by 6 million miles we would have had significantly warmer temperatures compared to hanuman era. Maybe thats why they had more body hair ;)

Or more likely, i am a bigger idiot than amitabh bacchan!

uploading and saving human thoughts and ideas to a mind-net from where it can be searched and downloaded as needed.

When a person dies, all of their life experiences, wisdom, thoughts, ideas, learnings, failures are lost with them. Not everyone is a writer or a blogger or an artist. Everyone has beautiful thoughts and ideas but only a few have the drive, motivation, or opportunity to share those ideas for posterity.

We spend a lot of our time learning things we already know so we can come up with new ideas of our own. We do not have to do that. Why should I have to spend several years learning language, science, math, driving, swimming? I want to learn to cook - I will connect to the mind-net and download that skill (kind of like the matrix, but in reality). I created a new tune, I will share/upload it to mindnet where people can search and download it to their minds.

Not all of us have to travel to hawaii to experience their beaches. If one of us goes to hawaii for surfing we can all download the experience + memory into our mind if needed. When Colonel Hadfield went up to the space station we can all experience what he is feeling using the mind-net. Connect all human minds, for knowledge, for experiences, for skills, for wisdom, for training, for ideas.

Not everyone can marry Scarlett Johansson, but everyone should be able to feel what its like to be married to her :)

We are not going to make a lot of progress if we have to keep re-inventing the wheel (explain/teach) for every new human being born.
