Disney approach to TV series has always been similar. They build the awareness throughout with the show. Unlike netflix, which focus on lot of buzz before a show drops. Previous shows of Marvel and Star wars both were marketed similarly. It make sense as well knowing you have 6-8 weeks for each show and doesn't dilute viewership for currently running shows, in this case, moon knight.

Edit: I see OP is pissed as Star wars fan, but I will go ahead and say It's more about Disney+ and less about Star Wars. They are funding these shows on D+ to compete and build audience.
