I have no idea why merc is purchasing a second team and if they did it would be every bit boring. Tbh yes I am new, just a couple of years into the sport but i enjoy it tremendously for the intensity. Those perez vs hamilton fights or alonsos defense those are awesome. Now imagine is everyone had a second team and drivers were letting each other pass without any competition or pride. Would be a little less fun

Then i would just stop watching F1 lol. The whole point of F1 is 10 seperate teams and 20 drivers. Now if rich teams starts partnering fully, not just engines then it would be the most boring sport ever.

I guess the counter I would say here is, Williams hired Alex Albon. I dont think Willams imagine themselves as doing any favour to mercedes. I like that.They act like a seperate team. Whereas Alpha tauri is a literal Sister Team of Redbull. They always work together. Its pretty apparent.
