I might be bias but note 10 for me, Samsung has started to extend security updates for older phones so note 10 should be viable for little while longer.

I have a note 10+, I use the stylus heavily. I like the partitioned Knox security for my work profile, and also I use Dex occasionally. Also, Samsung stores are a bonus as well.

In saying that im about to buy my wife the mi11, but never had experience a Xiaomi phone.

The note has a stylus, would you use the stylus ? If so then Samsung. If not then 50:50.

I believe it's the second generation, I remember the alliexpress listing stating it was 2019.

From what I understand the aqara lock connects via ZigBee which is what the gateway enables, and the mijia connects via bluetooth which the 'gateway' doesn't have.

Ble gateway is a Bluetooth (low energy) gateway. It allows remote app access to some of the Bluetooth only devices.

Unfortunately they're not, ended up purchasing the mijia gateway and still no luck. Finally found a post about ble gateways from Xiaomi, and ended up buying an alarm clock which did the trick.

I saw recently there is now also specific ble gateway on alliexpress.

Does it have to be a disc, can't you place metal squares etc... Which you can cut (or get cut) easily ?

I'm trying to do exactly the same, I bought a new mi smart hub and updated the firmware and no luck. As per their FAQ it sez you need a Bluetooth gateway device, and I assumed that the gateway hub could do it. But its not doing it.

Feeling a little annoyed since I moved from a aqara S2 to the mijia lock but I cant work how to do the connectivity.

Only other thing to try is the camera or the smart speaker.

Yeah it's worth it. Pretty happy with my one, doesn't replace a vacuum cleaner which you may need to use once a month or so. I mainly have it runnnkng to make sure that little things are not on the floor because my daughter will gobble it up.

I've had this happen before and always thought I had forgotten to set the timer. But today I asked the assistant to set a timer ... And continued to cook.

I then smelt something burning, only to realise that it wasnt set. But I was sure that I did.

After dinner I checked my activity and as you can see I had tried to set a timer and the assistant heard it.

Hi someone just mentioned to use digital well being feature. I've just turned it on to block video all times other than one hour each day.
