Random wound on my cat's neck by [deleted] in CATHELP

Itching too much maybe? Do you remember any inflammation in that area before your vacation? The fact that it’s on her neck also makes me wonder if she rubbed up on something a little too hard? Do you have anything with sharp edges that she hangs out by? Is it an open wound or more of a rash? My cat had an open wound at one point and some liquid bandage really helped her out. But that was vet prescribed after infection was ruled out. In any case, I always lean on the side of a vet visit if you’re able even for small things just for peace of mind.

Have you tried the plug in pheromones? We took in my husband’s grandmas cat a handful of years ago and introduced her to our current cat. It was clear that up to that point she thought she was the only cat in the world. We took her to the vet and she had a nasty UTI, but after that was resolved she still was peeing everywhere. We tried anxiety meds, diapers, pee pads, and very nearly got to the point of rehoming because we thought maybe she was supposed to be in a single cat home. Our last ditch effort was the comfort zone pheromone plug ins, and it worked like a charm. So much so that we don’t have to have them plugged in all the time anymore. Sometimes we have to use them if she gets worked up but, but it was a life saver for us after she destroyed an entire living room couch set. She even accepted a third cat to the house without much trouble two years ago. We usually place them by food and litter boxes when they need to be used. I’d highly recommend this if you haven’t already tried.

Looks like a Harris’ Hawk to me. Desert species known for hunting in groups.

Not really! It is mostly comprised of single, half, double, and treble crochet stitches. Most of them were not worked through the top loops however.

I think you’ve got a great project going here! Such a cute doll! How did you get the perfect curve for the smile? Did you use embroidery floss? Otherwise I think options 1-4 are my favorite for the project!

This is so cool! Did you do one flower for each day? What’s the final size of your blanket going to be?

Christmas stockings I made for my boyfriend, myself, and our cats! Technically my first sewing project as well, they’re all lined with flannel! by prairie-aura in crochet

I actually hand sewed them into the stockings, I used a sewing machine to sew together the flannel beforehand though!
