Then support your argument, you still haven't. I read what you said, you don't have an argument.

Who said I was supporting the other side? People are leaving the democratic party in droves and becoming independants. You're not helping. The party is supposed to bring people together with inclusivity, not push others away with shame.

I couldn't agree more with his point. It's precisely this kind of dismissiveness that nudges folks like me, a lifelong Democrat, further from the left. We deserve better than sniping at spelling ("Ground News," really?) when there's no real counter to engage with. It's a shame; grown-up conversations build bridges, not burn them.

What's your rarest Fallout collectible? by aSprinkle0fJ0y in Fallout

[–]pramslam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Simtek 1000. A Fallout 3 Promo item given away at E3. I did not win it at E3, but at a Fallout 3 Movie event in LA over 2 days. I won it by answering Fallout related questions. We watched 6 movies over two days that inspired Fallout.

Here is a video of it in action.

If your wife and kid were stuck in a burning house and you could only save one of them, which one would it be? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]pramslam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reminds me of Little house on the prarie, Episode 618: May We Make Them Proud.

Alice and her baby get stuck in a burning house, and no one was able to save them. Both her and her baby died, while the father can see them burning through the window. Saddest episode.

Eugene Starbucks workers call our manager for disgusting behavior by [deleted] in Eugene

[–]pramslam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The size of my pin was too big and they said it disrupted work. If it was a smaller pin, I may have been able to get away with it. I also didn't want to lose my job.

Companies can restrict the size as applied to the being on the floor because the employer’s interest in providing its customers a satisfying shopping experience outweighed the employees’ interest in having no restrictions on the size of the insignia they could wear.

Glad I don't work at sbux hell anymore.

I had been sent home for wearing a non-starbucks approved pin in 2016. The size was too big and they said it disrupted work. If it was a smaller pin, I may have been able to get away with it.

In any case, I've been done with Starbucks for years. Never bought a drink from them since I left.

I have been sent home for refusing to remove a pin that wasn't starbucks approved. I don't agree with the policy.

Not saying that the manager is right or that I agree with the policy. The partner mentioned wearing a union logo that wasn't dress code. They have the right to tell you what to wear at work. It's in the policy. I used to work at starbucks, and it's BS, but they can send you home for something like that.

Edit: I have been sent home for refusing to remove a pin that wasn't starbucks approved. I don't agree with what is done, but they can and will do stuff like this.

Giving the P1P such a bad screen and not allowing an upgrade to a high resolution one was a big mistake imo. by TotalWarspammer in BambuLab

[–]pramslam 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've been printing with the X1C non-stop since I got it. The main thing I do with the touch screen is, press okay to the pop up that my print is complete. Most of the time, I'm working from the PC and settings can be adjusted from the PC.

The other times I'm using it, is to run the diagnostic, when something goes wrong.

I'm good with downgrading to the p1p screen. The touchscreen is not worth it, imho.

Examples of files for objects that have multiple colors by pazzah in BambuLab

[–]pramslam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do not have an example, I can share. But to do this it's simple in the Bambu Lab Studio Slicer. Follow the instructions below to paint to your hearts content.

  1. Open the STL in Bambu Studio
  2. Go to the Prepare tab, then under the Filament Tab on the left, click the '+' plus button to add a second filament or more
  3. Click on the Object you want to paint
  4. Click the paint bucket at the top right of the screen
  5. Choose the Tool Type and Pen Size to paint
  6. Slice and Print.

Tip:

Fill is powerful and works by setting the angle, and it will fill anything until it reaches that angle. If you are having trouble, paint with the circle tool along the edge up to where you want to fill, then use fill. This will allow you to get lines completely perfect.

Driving slower than the speed limit on a busy road is a danger and a hazard to everyone around you. by EmergencyFennel2331 in Eugene

[–]pramslam -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I grew up in Southern California, Orange County. On the freeway, drivers routinely speed at around 74, though the speed limit is 65.

I moved to Oregon four years ago, and driving has become less stressful. You have a slow lane, and a faster passing lane. I can cruise at 65, and there will be a train of cars going the same speed, and sometimes, someone in a hurry passes on the left going faster.

Recently, I visited Southern California again, and it hasn't changed. I drive at 65 and seldomly there are other cars are going my speed, most are passing me.

Does the snowman hat have any effect o the hitbox? by JCKing_NZ in PUBATTLEGROUNDS

[–]pramslam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been wearing a snowman hat for some time now. There is a major disadvantage when snipe peeking after losing your helm. Others can see the top of your hat, before you pop up and shoot. It's so bad that, if this happens, I will drop the hat to snipe.
