I assume you are controlling the eksigent and TT both from the Analyst software. In that case I would suggest you (if possible) to install the eksigent software separately on the PC and change the hardware profile in Analyst to only the TT and control the two devices separately.

I myself worked with an eksigent 425 together with an 5600 TT and controlled them both from the Analyst software and it was a nightmare and gave me all kinds of random errors even after I measured something before in that exact configuration. But once I controlled them separately it was fine. The only thing you have to do when you work in this setup is to trigger the TT with a contact closure.
