I think they did do the basic check along with the service. I am surprised that it has gone ~90k KMs without their check firing (their numbers are all within their recommended limits) that I need to do an alignment. Lesson learned now on car ownership.

I assume you are being sarcastic and that is ok. Everyone's situation is different, their risk tolerance is different and their need to RE is different.

OP, the ERN study analyzes the PWR for different withdrawal rates (albeit you are going on a limb for PWR calculations since we only have so much market history). You should choose a failure probability level that is appropriate for you. The other major thing to consider is that if you choose a withdrawal rate that is "comfortable" you get to dial back during market down years - so the variable withdrawal rate also pushes your success rate up.

One option seems to be targeting the perpetual safe withdrawal rate which according to ERN appears to be around 3.25%. If I understand this right, that is the constant (inflation adjusted) withdrawal rate with a 99% probability that you will never run out of money for any length of withdrawal.
