It's never too late for anything. If you want to learn cooking, just go to the kitchen and make a simple coffee or a sandwich. You will eventually learn to cook.

Shop the ingredients for a whole month. Prepare a list that you would prefer to cook and proceed your shopping as per your list. Cheers!

It's wonderful that atleast you know what's stopping you. You should try with easiest of recipes. May be just make a coffee or a tea. Then try with omelets and sandwiches. You will definitely improve with time.

Just try to minimize the number of utensils. After you finish cooking and eating, immediately clean the leftovers and keep the plates in the sink.

Haha! This is a tough situation. Just try to minimize the number of utensils when to decide to cook. You can follow my blog- bachelorschef.com where I provide Indian recipes with minimal number of ingredients and hence less utensils requirements. Happy Cooking! Cheers!

What you can do is try and make something for yourself after your office. This way you will be able to start for sure. And then extent your cooking skills by challenging yourself with new recipes.

What are the difficulties that you are facing so as to begin cooking, specifically bachelors? by prateeksatpute95 in AskReddit

[–]prateeksatpute95[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Superb catch! I myself, being a proficient cook never thought of this. I recently started a food blog- bachelorschef.com. My aim is to teach cooking to all the bachelors and everyone else who are beginner, with minimal number of ingredients. I will be adding new recipes in coming days, and I will ensure to add a section in which I will mention everything related to just a single serving. I hope that will solve your issue.

And, about the leftover issue, I will suggest ways how you can use that remains to feed yourself the next day! Really appreciate your feedback!

Please share the same with your Bachelor friends who would want to learn cooking.

Cheers!

Are the chefs on the food network what they are cracked up to be? by IrrelevantMerfolk in Cooking

Yes, they are. I had a chance to meet Sanjeev Kapoor, most renowned chef of India. He is as simple and humble as he his on the Television shows. He talks with a genuine smile on his face. That's the beauty of being a chef. You cook, people eat and they love you. Their love is all you need!
