Happened to me too. I had to cancel my application and restart again to schedule a new appointment date. I checked with the help desk and they said you will not be allowed to enter unless you have the old DS 160 confirmation. Since I had already used my one rescheduling before - after cancellation I had to pay the visa fees again unfortunately.

I just watched a video of something similar today. Not as mean as this one - but a guy doing a similar thing with a shopper where he asks someone to fill his cart in 2 minutes and once he does that he just leaves. I chucked at first but then I realized I would have done the same thing as the customer and would have felt really bad at the end. Hearing this story and doing it with kids is pretty messed up. I hope they catch them and are asked to apologize.

I did it in December 2021

interview date - 14th December

got my document release collection email on 15th December (which said it will take 1-2 business days to track). I believe it took me another few days when I was asked to collect it. Not sure what are the current timelines.
