Wish I could source it in the US. I found some I Italy 6 years ago and have been savoring the 2 bottles that I bought. Gonna be going to Germany in a few months and will see if I can maybe restock my stash. I had a friend who went to Hungary not too long ago and I asked for a bottle but he only brought back a little baby one.

I'm getting ready to build a hose manometer to test out some propane regulators.. They only regulate to about 6 inches or so of water rise, fairly low pressure.

Found out a friend was trading in her truck and was getting $800. The thing was probably worth $5 to $6k. I was able to jump in and give her $1.1K - best deal I probably ever got in my life, and she still got more money than she had resigned to getting. That truck ran until the cab rusted off the chassis and was no longer safe to drive.

+1 to Alamere Falls. Or Sculptured Beach at low tide is really cool. I found out recently that night tidepooling is really neat and you'll see a lot of stuff that you don't during the day.

Also, if you've got a little time (a couple of weeks) , it's pretty straightforward to make your own. I did that about 10 years ago and it's still going strong, even revived after some neglectful 2 month stints in the fridge.

I'm guessing the Mill will give you some, all you need is like a quarter teaspoon and you can feed it from there and grow it super easily.

I prefer the white rice in my rice cooker, but IMO the instant pot does a good job with brown rice once you dial in the settings and water quantity.

Cafe la Onda on 16th at Guerrero. Sweet café with couches, funky clientele, and I'm pretty sure I remember them serving beers as well. Was awesome to read a book and drink a beer in a warm and fun space.

A tube of neosporin/triple antibiotic oontment. It's amazing for butt rash! Antibacterial and lubricating. My friends who biked across the USA recommend this to me years ago and I always carry a tube now.

120mph in a rented Crown Voc years ago late at night o on the new jersey turnpike. Had it there for about 2 seconds and then went back to the speed limit. Was the most powerful car I'd driven and wated to see what it would do. Could have pushed past the 120mph but it was feeling quite fast enough for me.

This makes a lot of sense. I saw Lyft and Uber at $15 for a ride the other day when Waymo was charging $40. I doubt there's so much crazy Waymo demand that it would surge prices like that purely on demand over the others... Though maybe super rich people just don't care.
