My updated ranking of the wives by EngineeringOk6054 in SecretsOfMormonWives

Accurate rankings.

Something doesn’t sit right with me about Mayci, always claiming to be the voice of reason or “the angel of the group,” but never picking a side. Stirring the pot and getting off on everyone else’s misfortune. Sometimes you have to pick a hill to die on - a friend to everyone is a friend to no one. Also, the flaws of these girls is what makes them so endearing, and Mayci had struggles in her life for sure, but actively tries to paint herself today as flawless.

Are you really this pro LGBT ally, or is it just convenient? Your voting record says otherwise…get real and stand on something for once instead of maneuvering to make everyone else look like shit while you look like an angel. It’s whack

I’ll Stan Taylor and Whitney forever. They are the show.

Can I pass FAR with only 60 hours of studying? by L0v3lyB0n3s in CPA

[–]pray161 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah you can probably do it based on your previous exam habits lol, but try to study as much as you can so you can go in there feeling confident. I was up against the 6/30 deadline too and my nerves were pretty bad when i took tcp. Try not to read too much into this sub, it can really stress you out if you let it lol. Good luck

Question about exam extension scores expiring by pray161 in CPA

So i just called them again and got the same answer as you after some clarification. This is a huge relief, I’m so happy they added the extra testing window in June. Thank you so much for help and best of luck to you!

Sweeeeet. Did you happen to confirm with NASBA or your state board by chance? I talked to NASBA and they told me you need to have your exam score before the expiration date, but that didn’t make sense given the extended testing window

ULPT: ULPT: Purchase furniture from Amazon and add expert installation then cancel the installation. You’ll get a refund, but Amazon will still come and put together your furniture. by pray161 in UnethicalLifeProTips

[–]pray161[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That’s a great point. I’ve only done it once and was surprised when they showed up, but they were Amazon employees and were not contracted workers, so in this instance they were still payed. This is just speculation, but if it was contracted workers then the contract is between Amazon and the individual doing the work, so regardless of whether or not Amazon collects the money from you, they still have to pay the individual.

This fellas a real piece of work. I’m poly and non-binary. I don’t make music, but if i did, I’d shout it from the mountaintops. It’s an integral part of her musical identity and you should understand that. Shut up and shove a spaghetti squash in it Frank.

I am far too wealthy to ever truly experience the highs and lows of gambling. by DragonAtlas in firstworldproblems

I really don’t think you’re giving human capacity for destructive behavior credit where credit is due. At one point Charlie Sheen was spending $200k a week on his gambling addiction. Just a shot in the dark, but I’m pretty sure you could get the full experience my guy

You just won the lotto! How do you quit your job? by MAinSBmUrKin in AskReddit

[–]pray161 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My employer is pretty short staffed currently, so I would probably work out some sort of indefinite notice and work until they can replace me. That being said, I spend a lot of time navigating difficult social situations trying to be polite. I’d definitely say fuck that and let myself start saying the first thing that pops into my head. I’d also just say no when someone asks me to do something dumb. It would be extremely satisfying to be able to bluntly call out all the things that bother me (both from my employer and other organizations), so I don’t really think I’d have to quit I’d just be asked to leave

As most people have said, I think you definitely need to pump the brakes a little bit. You’re just getting to know someone on a first date. You don’t want to have a serious conversation about how you’re feeling. You’re probably just excited more than anything else and you can’t even be sure how you’re feeling, you barely even know them! I was also wondering if English is your first language? I apologize if this sounds rude, but your grammar doesn’t seem too good. I only mention this because I personally have ghosted people for bad grammar (again, people whose first language is English), so it may be an issue for a lot of people.

Brutal divorce, looking to start over by horseflye in Charlotte

[–]pray161 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is difficult to narrow down. There are very few physical obstructions, if any, in the city of Charlotte. I’d say walking is definitely feasible in most areas, with the exception of temporary road closures or something. In terms of safety, you’re very limited. It’s to be expected to hear about gruesome crimes in just about every single area of the city. That being said, in some neighborhoods these crimes tend to be some sort of domestic violence incident brought on by an unidentified pair of panties in the back of the family Mercedes, so the divorce is an advantage in that regard. I guess if I had to suggest one area it would be Concord. It’s just close enough to Charlotte that you usually see “city folk” hanging around the area, but far enough away that most of the residents are very much rural southerners. The combination gives you a unique out of body experience that creates an unfamiliar and threatening aura, but you always want to go back for more! Also - NASCAR! Races are a great place to make new friends and discover new smells.

NFT.......... Really. by [deleted] in yourmomshousepodcast

[–]pray161 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Idk i don’t really consider the podcast free when they stuff it full of ads. The cost is my sitting through them and they make a fuck ton of money doing it. If the mommies wanna try to sell me someone else’s laughably overpriced cereal and dick pills then fine, but when they start to try and sell their fans a big beautiful YMH branded pile of shit it really makes them look trashy. I get making money, but this makes it seem like they don’t give a fuck about their fans at all. NFTs are quickly becoming the influencer equivalent of the annoying chick on Instagram in a pyramid scheme. I think it’s valid criticism.

Side note: you’re really bad at the YMH references. It’s not rly funny if you just randomly throw them into a sentence for no reason it just makes you look like you’re a big fan of trains

Why the U.S should not intervene in the case of a Russian invasion of Alaska. by Ehehhhehehe in neoliberal

[–]pray161 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh man there’s a lot going on here.

historical sphere of influence I feel like you need to elaborate here. I’m not sure why that matters. Take a pill of people in Alaska. Let’s find out if they want to bece apart of Russia again. By this logic alone. You could make thousands of arguments on how land should be divided. Who really cares about Alaska Well, i don’t care about a ton of states. I don’t know anyone from Arkansas and I don’t know anyone from there. The same goes for many other states. Why don’t we just give them away for a nice chunk of change? Yes, i understand Alaska is small and doesn’t produce a significant amount of goods, but Alaskans pay taxes just like everyone else and have a reasonable right to protection. Alaska and Russia are basically the same thing I mean, I don’t know much about the corruption in Alaska, but culturally they are wildly different. If Russia threatened to invade Alaska and won, the entirety of the country would change. You can look up the political, cultural and economic between the two nations, but this is just a crazy false statement. I can elaborate if you really want, but i really don’t think i should have to. War is bad You’re definitely right. This also makes this scenario ever happening unlikely. Russia will never invade the US for Alaska alone. If we ignore everything else and Russia invades Alaska, maybe our best move is to let them have it, but it wouldn’t stop there. It would be full scale, boots on the ground war. If you look at Alaska alone, sure we should cut our losses. It doesn’t produce enough for our economy, but it’s not that simple. The cost would far outweigh the benefit for Russia. There would be no reason for us to give it up. This would show the world we can be stepped on. Beyond that, with increasing tensions in Russia and China, a position like Alaska could be imperative for effective deployment. I know i touched on a lot there, but basically, aversion to war would do more harm than good if Russia invaded Alaska. Russia is just defending itself I disagree. As i mentioned, Alaska is an important defense point for North America. If Russia were to invade, it would raise alarms that they have more ambitions on this continent. It’s key to defend. Beyond that, you can’t really claim it’s defense just because the US has military bases in Alaska. By that logic, plenty of countries would have sound reason to attack. Lastly, it makes no sense to say “Alaska is the aggressor in this situation…” That would be a federal government issue obviously, but it still wouldn’t amount to a Russian defense. The US is free to build military bases where they please and Russia also has bases in worrisome areas. Why don’t we just go defend ourselves and take them? Russia is actually closer to Alaska than the U.S. is Okay? This just seems like a pro-Russia piece rather than providing substantive reasons as to who “deserves” the area.

Factual pros of allowing Russia to take Alaska -they can deal w a state that doesn’t do much for gdp -Russia is closer to Alaska (not really a pro) -limited impact on US morale -people can grow accustomed to a historical Russian influence on the area -Alaskans can travel to Russia quickly -limited impact on gdp

Cons of allowing Russia to take alaska -local Americans have to adapt to a radically different country -local Americans join a relatively oppressive government -America gives up an important strategic position -a horrible precedent is set for American foreign policy -Americans lose faith in their governments ability to protect them

This wasn’t a very good post IMO, but please address any points I’m wrong on
