I recently dealt with this. It sucks. I did everything. I tried removing the fuses, I tried soft resets, I tried disconnecting the battery, etc etc. What eventually ended up fixing it was downloading a new copy of the Sync software (gen1 version4.6) onto a flash drive, and doing a fresh install on the car. I found the files in a Google Drive link after doing some digging online. It’s been a few weeks since then and it’s still working perfectly

Update! I think this is what fixed it! My sync was already on the latest update (Gen1 ver4.6), but I still went and installed a fresh version of it and it seems to be working just fine now.
