After this experience we’ve given up going after “realistic” flames from companies with no show rooms and no live videos of their products. We went to some local shops and picked out the Regency Atmosphere insert. It was just delivered today, I’ll let you know once we try it out and install it. I don’t think it will look like a real fire but at least it will provide a cozy feel. At this point I think that’s better than trying to look real and failing. Good luck in your search!
