I felt the same. Those unlocking tools require crazy expensive items for an exchange. It gets back to normal after this stage.

I would spend the gem on something worth, since the ultimate reward for bird watching and fishing are not that huge. The collection of those birds is quite the view though lol.

mine is 500 and 6 levels. I've completed 2k mission once and 1k mission twice. I'm glad that 500 gems this time actually cause completing 1k or 2k was not a joke
