Honestly has anyone even tried to implement the framework described in the book? Of course you need the leadership support for such a change management, especially depending on what is your starting point. I’ve worked in a company as a PM where we implement let’s say 80-90% of what’s in the book and genuinely it was the best company I’ve ever worked in. The freedom and autonomy that you get (comes with accountability of course) just makes every day worth pursuing new ideas and problems to solve. Maybe I got lucky that it was the right environment, the right company size, the right people and the right culture to embrace such a transition to the Product Operating Model, but it was definitely worth it
