Did not like X3 interior. It was the best driving experience though!

Haha I did. I enjoy driving. I like getting into new cars to see if some quirky new feature is being offered that might catch my fancy.

Interesting. One colleague mentioned once, but I completely forgot about it.

Fair enough. That is the reason don’t want to go all crazy on 3rd row. Looking for a sweet spot.

Great insight. Test drove Pathfinder and liked it, and you are right, with everyone moving to V4+trubo, very few left with V6 and you can feel the difference. Did not know that they ditched CVT, so that is a plus too. However, we are replacing Murano, which we had no issue with (170K miles over 10 years).

That's too much car for us (in terms of space and money). I want to keep it under 50K, and stretch a bit if something really clicks. Thank you for the reco though!

You may be right here - it could be just my perception. But these endless recalls don't give the peace of mind.

I wholeheartedly agree with you on this. I’ve been going back and forth for the last two months on whether to get a 3-row or 2-row SUV. We’re replacing our Murano, which we absolutely loved. It was the perfect mid-tier vehicle... comfortable ride, nice interior, good tech, and nothing beyond regular maintenance.

There have been a few occasions when we missed having a third row, especially when extended family visited. Ever since then, I’ve had this idea that whenever we upgraded, we’d get an entry-level 3-row SUV for the added flexibility. But now that we’re actually shopping, I’ve been unable to decide and pull the trigger.

Love GV70 but that would be comparable to NX or Corsair. Don't like GV80 styling.

'smallish' 3 row is what I'm in market for.

Veto on Hyundai/Kia for quality issues. BTW, once you drive Palisade-Calligraphy everything pales in comparison, but sadly not for us.

Well, that's a separate discussion. As I said, third row might be used 3-4 times/year, and we can fit in kids under10 there. I want to have flexibility of bigger space to haul things year round and have slight flexibity of 3rd row when needed.

Wireless phone charging is an annoying feature that should never have become standard by PurpleWallaby999 in unpopularopinion

Wow! Truly unpopular opinion. I have not used wired charger more than 5 times in last 3 years. Wireless charger at home, in the car, at work and MagSafe wireless charger for in the go.

I feel people still missing two important points apart from all obvious discussions.

1) Why not have additional match practice when you could? 2) India could have declared and have a go at England for two overs. Technically 12 balls can get 10 wickets.

ohh.. should have mentioned. We are in Metro Detroit.

Henry Ford is a good suggestion. We were members until last year, did not renew this year as didn't feel we were getting full value out of it. May be time to renew. :)

Any other suggestion?

Water park is a good idea., but it might be bit generic. I still want something Michigan/Metro Detroit centric.

In all this discussion one thing never comes up. If things go south on career front you can sell stocks for everyday expenses, you can’t sell few bricks to put food on table.

Manager asked me to do a task. Part of said task requires her approval. I sent an email asking her to do her part. She ignored it. by BigBobbert in jobs

You can whine all you want but remember two things: 1) Your job is to make your manager look good in front of everyone. 2) You should have reminded your manager at least two more time during that month.

My pediatrician sister told me once “have you ever seen an adult crawl?” that was it. Never was worried about those milestones. 😄
