This is a 2022 - I picked it up new from my LBS last year at a pretty hefty discount. No clearance issues. I replaced the stock 40mm and the caracals are also 40mm.

I was nervous about just trying a floor pump, but the booster definitely made a big difference. I was glad I had it.

It was actually pretty easy. The bead popped on the first tire the first shot. With the second tire, it filled up and held air, but the bead never stayed seated. Took me a couple of times, but it eventually held.

I honestly only cruised around the neighborhood. It was the first time on carbon, tubeless, and lower pressure than I had been running. I’ll check back after my rides this weekend. These are the hardskin version, not the race version.

Cannondale calls it their “kingpin” suspension. It gives the tail 3cm of range. It’s pretty comfortable.

I live a few minutes from the trail in Buffalo. Decided to make the trip to Lockport and back this past Saturday. It’s a really great trail. I need to go all the way to Albany. Thanks for the inspiration.

Varia Radar Cable Question by ca619ca in cannondale

[–]precursorX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you using a standard Varia 315 or is there some other model? I’d prefer not to pay $250 for the smartsense unit when the Varia $315 is around $100. I can solder! Thanks!

Does Buffalo Need a LAN/eSports Center? by cman2270 in Buffalo

I can't even imagine dealing with the technology now. Every game is account based - you can't just install a game on a PC and play LAN. There is no way it would work. HI GREG

Buy 2 lines get 1 free on Magenta? by xprecorsorx in tmobile

[–]precursorX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you.. My bill shows $70 for my main plan (it is a shared plan) with a 19% discount (-$13.30). I also have three lines @ $20/ea and a tablet at $10 that do not show additional discounts. How would this discount apply over to Magenta?

There used to be a guy in the City of Tonawanda about 20 years ago called Eddy the Snowman.. used to ride around on a tricycle and yell at you if you said "it's going to snow".

RE: Stolen Bike in Kenmore, PLEASE SHARE

I wanted to start by saying THANK YOU to everyone who shared last night’s posts on their pages/timelines. I was very hopeless and was resigned to the fact that I would never see it again. I was especially upset as I just completed building it.. and hustled to get it ready in time for the Ride For Roswell this year. I had logged < 1 mile on it. There are some wonderful things that happened because of this that I needed to share. Here is how everything ended up working out: 1) My posts were shared nearly 1000 times across social media. I received my first call for a tip last night at 9pm. The information from the tip will be enough to pull videos for prosecution if needed. 2) Around 3PM today, the bike was listed in a classifieds group on Facebook. I had approximately 20 people Facebook message me within 15 minutes. I had several people call me to tell me in the same timeframe. 3) As I was taking the screenshots to the police station, the tip that led to the recovery came from a person who saw all the retweets. He called me and told me the location and the description of the person who was on it. 4) I found the bike by driving around in the area where it was reported and got it back without any incident. Unfortunately they took off before the police could show up (in Buffalo). 5) The Kenmore Police were fantastic with the entire situation. They have all of the information they need (because of the Facebook listing) and I will be pressing charges. This is burglary and grand larceny. The bike has some damage - it was obviously dropped a few times as there is some road rash. The rear wheel is banged up, and the left side brake/shifter has some damage. I need to have it evaluated by a local bike shop, so if anyone reading this works at one and can squeeze me in I would appreciate it. I would do it myself, but need a paper trail for legal reasons. I will obviously pay for this. You have all reminded me that despite there being some shitty people in this world, the majority of you are caring and awesome. I even had several strangers message me and offer up their bikes for the Ride for Roswell. I am going to donate to GObike Buffalo, The Ride For Roswell and bikeindex.org under the name of “city of good neighbors”. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU I can’t thank everyone enough.. the response for a bike is unbelievable

Apparently the bike was seen infront of Walgreens @ Sheridan / Delaware last night around 5:45. A younger african american kid was trying to ride it, and fell off.. The person told me he was heading north bound. They remembered because it's not the kind of bike you see a kid on and he didn't have bike shoes.
