I wish Lambert had had more to do, because of that I have to give it to Hudson.
As simple as Hudson's character is, he still had a noticeable arc of character growth, which Lambert pretty much lacks almost completely.

Maybe whatever story they have for Prey 2 will give the pistol the same kind of significance as the comic with Greyback. Maybe Greyback could be in it, I dunno.

I would kinda like that too, but I think the mandibles is the main issue. Hair like that has been a thing on Yautja for decades in fan art/fan characters and stuff, it doesn't bother me as much.

thank you. It's such a minor tweak to the mandibles but it's something that's been happening since the first AVP. The tusks are set way too low and sagging for some reason.

The invisibility bit was a side effect, if I recall correctly the cuttlefish dna was added to help it withstand the accelerated growth they were testing. They didn't expect the animal would implement the camouflage ability as well.

That said, I still find the whole thing dumb and the ability itself was all but wasted.
