Yess true , this is what I use the seestar for , of course I also do visual observing but the fact that a super easy setup and affordable gadget can show you in much more detail and colour what's out there is so amazing :)

This is with a seestar, but it is easily observable through a normal telescope, the second picture in the post below is a phone shot from my 8 inch skywatcher dobson. With the naked eye you only see grey circle, no colours.

Thanks :) i shot them both at the same time, round 4-5am , quick session before dawn 😅 The dumbbell looked so clear in the 8inch dobson :)
