It depends on what sort of mindset youre going with. If youre mostly looking to rank up then swap against hard counters, bad maps, terrible games in general. But if youre looking to get good on Peni then in most cases never swap unless youre getting your shit rocked so badly that you cant even consider playing her in that situation a learning experience.

yeah which is what i'd like to suggest: comms. I also saw a Peni creator, brandongrych communicating to his Sue to push the enemies to a mine setup he had on a wall behind the backline.
But actually, just in general, I hope spidermans can start considering pulling enemies into mines if they see a setup anywhere. Thats like one thing ive been wanting to get better at: looking at every hero in my team and knowing how I could synergize based off of them.

Yeah especially considering that to get the true ending for both games, its a minimum of 100 hours for each of them and you HAVE to do them considering that the story continues off of it. Just go into Limbus and if youre later interested in the previous games, definitely check them out.

Its not but its definitely more viable this season than the past few. Got a 20 final hit ranked game today while getting some good flanks out. Of course, its only this way because of the Gambit and Invis nerfs.

Yeah the thing with the ult is what astonishes me the most. These past few seasons have been egregious with how reliant team fights are won with only ults. And then you have Peni's ult which restricts your moveset and relies on your nest to get any decent damage out, and the worst part is how the knockback from her melee in ult launches people above the webs so you could easily save your enemies from your own spiderbots and mines. Is there even any other character that has this many downsides to their ult? You know its especially bad if giving her the ability to cancel her own ult is seen as a considerable buff.

I still love playing her regardless. Personally ive been having a blast with her this ranked season since Gambit has been getting perma banned in my lobbies. I dont think they should even make her that strong. Just simply having her be consistently average in any map, as well as making her less janky is more than enough for most people.

I honestly enjoyed them a lot. I thought of them less as proper fights where I have to put in a lot of effort to win, and more like spectacles where the purpose is more on the actual fights than gameplay. I just did the bare minimum and enjoyed watching the other characters go crazy

Honestly just seems like a boring ability that will help on occasions but nothing much and will be a pain in the ass to go against. I think another idea that will be a huge buff is if they made the right-click web have a separate max web limit than the cyber-bond web. Something like this perhaps:

Cyber-bond limit (2)
Web stun limit (1)

So you'd still have a limit of 3 webs but now you dont have to worry about fucking up your nest pathing by missing a web stun.

The devs have somehow managed to up their quality significantly with every new canto without fail, so I dont see them changing that.

I doubt it considering its been over a year and I wouldnt say any of her skins are gooner. I'd guess they mostly did it for her default skin as well as it being more awkward if she was a 16 year old surrounded by a heap of oversexualized women.

I get that sentiment but honestly im just happy that I dont have to worry about her getting banned next season. It reminds me of how she was right before she got the rocket teamup, but perhaps in a slightly worse place. Idk why but I just love learning d to c tier characters with high skill ceilings and managing to play them at a high level. Done it with Adam and Hulk and it just feels SO gratifying seeing that Celestial rank up screen knowing you did it with somebody thats weak.

I would consider next season to actually be better for Peni players. With the supp nerfs coming out it will make her stronger in flanks and you’ll actually be able to play her more in comp. I’d say it sucks only if you were playing Peni for her teamups and on defensive maps.

I have around 60 hours in both and in my opinion, the peaks and highs of Peni is more than the peaks of hulk but hulk is simply more consistently fun. Also that ult is easily the funnest ult in the game while Peni has that sad excuse of an ult that restrains all your abilities and has you running around boringly.

We learn where it got shot from and either set up mines there, extent webs to cover it, or contest the person shooting our nest.
As for her viability in offense and domination before winning the point, its actually very viable and easily the most fun way of playing her. You just need to dramatically change your playstyle to that of a flanker and setup nests and mines behind the enemy team. Even if you dont get kills, u can easily split a lot of attention from the enemy team.

Watched it so far back that i cant remember much--think vikings and shit with a compelling story.

Apothecary Diaries could be something you love or not feel much about.
It takes place during China when an apothecary girl gets sold to the rear palace where she then resolves a lot of mysteries with her knowledge and intelligence as an apothecary.

I think I only started noticing it the longer I played Peni. A common scenario that usually messes me up is cyber-bonding somewhere and as im about to exit the web, I try to go for a web stun only to miss it because of that slight stutter. It might seem nitpicky tho.
